Uzma Hussain


Uzma Hussain, DPT, ATRIC is the President of Aquatic Solutions Physical Therapy. A graduate of Wayne State University in 2005, she began her career in acute care and from there transitioned into outpatient orthopedic. She has more than 12 years of clinical and managerial experience in the field of physical therapy. Uzma Hussain is specialized in aquatic therapy.

She has dedicated a career to working with clients who were looking to achieve the optimal results of rehabilitation with return to work, play and the activities of daily living

Arwa Hasan-Debusschere


Arwa Hasan-Debusschere DPT, ATRIC is the Clinic Director at Aquatic Solutions Physical Therapy. She is licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Michigan. Arwa completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies at Wayne State University, where she received her Bachelor’s in Health Sciences in 2015 and Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017. Arwa received the Outstanding Professional Achievement Award and was inducted into the Pro Bono National Honor Society upon completing her doctoral degree.

Arwa has experience working in the acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient physical therapy setting. She has worked closely with occupational and speech therapists to help promote optimal function in individuals as a whole.

Arwa is specialized in the LSVT BIG Program, geared towards assisting individuals with Parkinson’s Disease overcome difficulties with walking, balance and activities of daily living. Arwa is a certified practitioner for aquatic therapy.

Edward Mathiea


Ed completed his Bachelors and Master’s degrees in Physical Therapy. He is a Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Michigan and has over 20 years of experience practicing physical therapy.

He brings his extensive experience in the treatment of Orthopedics, Sports/Work related injuries and chronic pain. He uses manual therapy techniques, exercises and modalities to help his clients reach their therapy goals. His goal for each individual under his care is self-efficacy, empowerment, consistency and commitment to their healthiest, happiest life.

Daniel Ng-choy


Daniel is licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Michigan, with academic formation from Baker College, he graduated with honors with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in 2016.

Daniel also graduated from Oakland Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science and obtained his Personal Trainer Certification from the gold standard and largest sports medicine and exercise science organization in the world, American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) in 2014. Daniel spent most of his clinical experience in outpatient orthopaedics at Beaumont Hospital treating different types of injuries including joint replacements, sports and work injuries, as well as chronic pain.

Daniel has continued his education and specialties in the following areas: Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization Practitioner Aquatic Therapy Rehabilitation Institute Certified

Sarah Trent


Sarah has a varied background in sports medicine, nutrition, personal training and physical therapy. Sarah attended Central Michigan University and Baker College. She has been in the field about 18 years and truly enjoys her job.

Sarah is a manual based PTA that uses dynamic and static cupping, IASTM, various KT taping techniques, TPR, myofascial release and Muscle energy techniques. She has been a patient herself, thus empathizes with her patients and tries to listen carefully in order to mold a therapy program around daily changes. One of her goals is to become a certified Pilates instructor and teach.

Tyler Daniel


Tyler is a licensed PTA, who graduated from Baker College in 2013 with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science along with an Associates Degree in Liberal Ars from Schoolcraft Community College in 2009. Tyler has 9 years of experience treating individuals in the Outpatient Orthopedic PT setting. Outside of work, Tyler enjoys outdoor activities, watching sports, and movies with friends and family.

Shaniqua Jeffers


Shaniqua Jeffers is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant who graduated from South University, an accredited college with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science in 2016. She has been a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant since 2017. For the last 3 to 4 years, Shaniqua has primarily worked in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
